Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services provided by BodhiStack.

1. Overview

BodhiStack provides custom software development, design, and consulting services. Because our work is tailored to each client and delivered through dedicated time and effort, refunds are handled in accordance with the terms below and the specific agreement for your engagement.

2. Custom Development Services

Custom projects are typically billed in advance or in milestones. Each payment covers work, resources, and time already committed to your project. Amounts for work that has been completed and approved are non-refundable.

3. Cancellation by the Client

You may request to cancel an ongoing engagement in writing. Upon cancellation:

  • You will be billed for all work completed up to the cancellation date.
  • Any non-refundable deposit or mobilisation fee remains non-refundable.
  • Completed and approved milestones are not eligible for a refund.
  • We will hand over deliverables produced up to that point, subject to settlement of outstanding amounts.

4. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend an engagement if there is a material breach of our agreement, non-payment, or circumstances that make delivery impractical. In such cases, we will discuss a fair settlement for work completed.

5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds, where applicable, are limited to amounts paid for work that has not yet been started or delivered. To request a refund, contact us within a reasonable period with details of your engagement and the reason for the request.

6. Refund Process & Timeline

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable number of business days, subject to your payment provider's processing times. Any applicable transaction fees may be deducted from the refunded amount.

7. Non-Refundable Items

  • Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (such as licences, subscriptions, domains, or hosting).
  • Completed and approved milestones or deliverables.
  • Discovery, consultation, or strategy work that has already been delivered.
  • Custom work that has been started based on your written approval.

8. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our services, we encourage you to contact us first so we can work towards a fair resolution. We are committed to addressing concerns promptly and in good faith.
